Behind the scenes photoshoot for Andy South's lookbook, the rice bag warehouse couldn't have been a more perfect location!! Before we left for the shoot, I took a few pics of Andy's studio because I could not take my eyes off that chain vest. It hung perfectly on the mannequin as the sunlight shined through the window. BTW those Jeffrey Cambell wedges will be for sale on my ebay store!! I'll keep you all updated!!!

So much fun today at Ke Iki Beach Bunglalows out North. It couldn't have been a nicer day for a quick photoshoot on the beach, laying out on the hammocks, while watching the swells come in. Today was one of those days, that made me realize how lucky I am to be living in Hawaii Nei.

I love the open market, you never know what you're going to find there. Luckily it's up the street from my house, so Justine and I decided to wake up early on a Saturday morning to enjoy the fresh food, flowers, and a whole lot of people. Justine is wearing an Olsen Maxi Dress from MinkPink, I paired it with a few vintage pieces from my closet, and of course completed the look with Jeffrey Campbell Litas in tan suede. The dress and bag will be sold on ebay!!! So please check it out because I only have a few left!!

Model, Justine Edwards probably looks familiar to you all because she's been on the cover of several local magazines in Hawaii, and has shot with numerous designers. She's been a good friend of mine since Intermediate School and I'm so excited for her career to take off as a model/actor. I dressed Justine in a sheer lace trimmed top with a flowy velvet layered skirt, btw are for sale on ebay!!! These pieces look great separately but look adorable together. We took a few shots of her as she took her dog, Brutus on a stroll through the valley.

I had a blast styling this shoot at this amazing home in Kailua. I spent the whole day imagining what it would be like waking up to the beach in your backyard with a cup of coffee, not to mention enjoying all of the amenities this home has to offer. BTW Beyonce, Jay Z, and Lady Gaga were some of the few guests that recently stayed here. I fell in love with this house and the fact that it's in Kailua, makes it my dream home!

I was flipping through the pages of Elle in Barnes and Noble, as I waited for my friend, Reiko to finish picking out books for her thesis paper; I spotted an article on this new designer who is an architechtual-genius at creating 3-D designs, that at first glance you're instantly intrigued. Thomas keeps his pieces exciting and fresh, and it's undoubtedly unique.

We waited in line for an hour to be one of the first 400 customers to receive a gift card at Forever 21. Dedicated customers waited in the rain in hopes to recieve the $210 gift card. I had a blast waiting in line with my friends Reva, Jess, and Reiko as we watched the madness take place in the store.

SOUTH by Andy South was inspired by one concept; the norm would usually follow the NORTH Star but this collection allows you to create your own journey and allows you to choose which path you wish to follow.  Andy is in the process of creating his fierce collection, and the beginning of his line is what he refers to as his "tribe" and now he's just waiting for his "clan" to follow.  This collection will take you on your own journey, to finding your independence and you will only find it at SOUTH by Andy South.
